First, review these frequently asked questions and click on any one to see the answer.
Sheri's designs for Northcott Silk spanned a period of three years and encompassed dozens of different fabrics within each collection. Unfortunately, we have no insider information on where Northcott sold and distributed these fabrics. However, we do have a few things to keep in mind as you search for the missing patterns in your sewing project:
First, it is typical in the retail fabric industry for fabric collections to be released and made available for only a few months before the next collection replaces the previous one on the shelf. (So if you see a Sheri McCulley-designed fabric you like when it first comes out, buy it immediately, and pick up a few extra yards to sell later in case it becomes rare and valuable!)
However, it's possible that local or online retailers may still have stock of the fabric you're looking for. If you've already checked with local independent fabric stores, use your favorite online search engine to look for "Sheri Berry" (the studio's brand through 2011) and add the name of the collection to the search term. If you're not certain about the collection name, go to Sheri's legacy designer page at Northcott.com to view the names and images of Sheri's collections produced by Northcott. You can also click on any collection icon to see the individual fabrics that made up that collection.
There are many online fabric stores that carried Sheri's Northcott fabrics (and that carry her new Riley-Blake-produced fabric), but perhaps the best sources for yardage of discontinued fabrics are eBay.com and etsy.com. In both cases, it is recommended that you search simply for "Sheri Berry" to see the full range of fabrics each community is selling.
Unfortunately, not every design shown on this website, or the Sheri McCulley blog, is currently available as a fabric. If you'd like to see a particular design as fabric, please send us a message via the contact form below and we will compile these requests for inclusion in planning discussions with Riley Blake, Sheri's current licensing partner for fabric.
Also note that the Riley Blake site has a variety of ways to make sure you get all the patterns you need for a successful sewing project, including listings of all the patterns in each collection and a convenient store finder that helps you find their retailers in the many states and countries where their fabrics are sold.
"Sheri Berry" and "Sheri Berry Designs" appeared on products featuring designs by Sheri McCulley Seibold prior to 2012. Starting in 2012, all newly licensed products featuring Sheri's designs will be marked "Sheri McCulley" or "Sheri McCulley Studio."
